The Importance of Summer Morning Routines

Morning routines provide a stability that oftentimes is overlooked. Even as the waves continue to roll and summer is at its peak, it's easy to be swept away in a tide of "vacation mode". Although loosing sight of daily rhythms is normal for this time of year, we believe reprioritizing your morning can help energize you for the day ahead of fun in the sun.

Ever heard of waking up on the wrong side of the bed? While everyone is unique and there is no set time-line of how long your routine should be, we find starting off your day with gratitude can be a great routine. Simply think of 5-10 specific things you are grateful each day. You can step-up this practice by journaling your thoughts or reading. This may help align your heart to see the good in each day.

Another great word? Hydrate! After your beauty sleep, your body has gone without additional water for many hours. Drinking a glass of water will reenergize your body to kick-start your day.

There are many resources regarding the best morning skincare routines. We encourage you to set a peaceful atmosphere during your time getting ready by lighting a candle, such as our hand-poured candles in a variety of calming fragrances.

At the of the day, it's summer, so don't fret yourself over having the perfect pilates-morning with a green juice everyday. There is victory in the small steps to take care of your body and mind, whatever that looks like to you.
