Dry January Made Delicious
Dry January is upon us, and many of us are thinking about ways to refresh and detox from the myriad of Holiday comfort foods and drinks we gobbled down. One way to do this is by incorporating healthy habits into our daily routines, like eating clean, cutting the alcohol, and making time for self-care.

One aspect of self-care that often gets overlooked is taking care of our bodies from the inside out. I like to do this by incorporating mocktails into my weekly routine. Mocktails are a delicious and refreshing way to hydrate and nourish our bodies without the added calories and negative effects from libations.
The benefits of mocktails are many, but quite frankly, I love them because they are delicious. Not to mention you wake up feeling refreshed! A little less puffiness around my eyes? Sign me up!
HALF UNITED's 16oz Emilie Tall Glass is the perfect addition to your new year mocktail routine. Hand-blown, allowing for variations and personality in bubbles and hue, these glasses are not only stylish and sustainable, but they are also durable and dishwasher-safe. Plus, with a portion of the proceeds from every purchase going towards ending hunger, you can feel good about your purchase while also taking care of yourself too. Winning!

To get you started on your mocktail journey, here's a simple and refreshing recipe I love:
Calming Cherry Mocktail
♥ 2 oz of wild cherry juice
♥ 2 oz of pineapple juice
♥ ½ cup of sparkling water
♥ ¼ cup of rosemary sprigs
♥ Fresh lemon or lime wedge
♥ Ice
Pour into HALF UNITED's hand-blown glassware and enjoy! This recipe is simple, and fast, and will leave you feeling amazing. For more mocktail recipes check out all of the great ideas from Town and Country Magazine where I found a plethora of renditions to your average boozy beverage. So this new year, consider adding mocktails and HALF UNITED's glassware to your self-care routine. Fighting hunger is worth it, and loving your everyday life is valuable.
Cheers to a healthy and happy new year!

Spring is a season that inspires my creativity like no other! As the winter cold gives way to warmer weather and longer days, it fuels me with renewal, growth, and fresh beginnings. I quite literally feel better, and there is science behind it! It is a time when nature comes back to life, and my spirits are lifted by the colors, sounds, and smells of baby blooms.
