Spring is a season that inspires my creativity like no other! As the winter cold gives way to warmer weather and longer days, it fuels me with renewal, growth, and fresh beginnings. I quite literally feel better, and there is science behind it! It is a time when nature comes back to life, and my spirits are lifted by the colors, sounds, and smells of baby blooms.
Flowers begin to appear, trees start to bud, and the world around us becomes more colorful and vibrant. This burst of new life inspires me to look at things differently, to see beauty where I may not have seen it before, and to think creatively about how I can capture the essence of spring in my work. I pull inspiration from everywhere, but this season is one that offers a plethora to choose from.
Just as the world around us is renewing itself, I can use this time to renew my creativity, try new things, and grow as an artist. Whether it's the bright greens of new leaves, or the deep pinks from the azaleas, that I work into jewelry or exploring new subject matter, spring can be a time of creative growth and development. As the world comes back to life, so do my ideas. I travel with a sketchbook in tow no matter where I am going during this season to jot down bits of inspiration I pass by every day.
This change of scenery is invigorating, giving me new ideas and fresh perspectives. I could be walking in the park, sitting in a café, or just enjoying a picnic with friends when I see something that motivates me to tap into my creativity! I find constant inspiration in the world around me. After winter's long, dark days, spring brings a sense of hope and optimism. This positive energy can be infectious, inspiring us to create joyful, uplifting, and celebratory work. My designs for this season scream life and color, and my hope is that people feel that while they are wearing these pieces. I am always so excited to share pieces that allow others to share their emotions in what they are wearing, and that is exactly what my plan is with my new collection.
